I just got a popup inviting me to participate in the Official US Green Card Lottery. So, if I get one, can I sell it on Ebay?

My family won our green cards in the lottery. But somehow I don't think it's open to citizens ;)

Apparently whoever decided I should get the pop-up didn't realise that?

Careful - it might be the RNC trawling for illegals.

They're not going to come up with anything in my case, so they'd be wasting their money, and...hmm.

This is wild! It's a lottery! Wow.

Incidentally, do you remember where those links were to the questionnaire that help you assess if you'd be a good candidate for immigration to the US or Canada? I had much fun filling out the Canadian one (I'd fail) and I'm curious to see how I'd do on the US form now that I have a graduate degree and teaching experience and such.

I didn't even know there WAS a lottery. I don't usually research what I'd need to stay in the US, because I'm kind of already here, y'know?

Do you mean the citizenship tests? I think I could find those. I passed both of them; that and a dollar fifty will just about buy me a cup of coffee. *g*
