where am I: night shift
How I feel about it all: boredbored
Tags: , ,
On one hand, double-time-paying night shift, yay! On the other hand, laptop with no mouse, woe. And because it takes me forever to code properly even with a mouse, this meme took me the better part of my two-hour break to finish and code. I didn't even mind, because I'm just. that. bored.

*cackles* This whole thing is hilarious! I love the footnotes, but really, you had me at "travelling geekdork history buffs from Canada." ;)

It's true, though, isn't it?

There are four references to random, not-near-each-other places (hence the 'travelling'), six references to historical places and/or people, six references that are either obscure trivia or information only a geek (computer, science fiction, theatre, or literary--something for everygeek!) would care about, and three references to Canada (four if you count Battlestar Galactica, which is Canadian by association). :)

Go forth and make one! Coding optional, of course, unless you happen to be working a boring night shift. Then it's essential.

I'm doing it right now -- it's either this or grade problem sets.

I am a fan for life of any band that titles a song, "Spank Tank." The only thing better would be to name the band, "Spank Tank." Or Jupiter Laughs, because that's just kinda cool.

Jupiter Laughs is a play from back in the Olden Days, IIRC. To tired to search for the link. Bleh.

I have been vaguely entertained by this meme on my flist, but your footnotes are what make me smile here. Now I'm tempted.

I stole the footnotes idea from someone else. I wish I could remember who it was, but I'm pretty sure I'm asleep at the moment.
