Soundtrack: Jonathan Rhys- Myers - Ballad of Maxwell Demon
from moony:

Step 1. Put your playlist on random.
Step 2. Post the first line from the first 25 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing. (You can skip songs that are instrumental.)
Step 3. Strike out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

(I skipped one song because I didn't know it and if I don't know it, it's not fun for guessing. I also skipped to the second line if the first one was only the title of the song.)

Pre-caffeinated, so I'm still quite stupid...

8.There's a [title of song] with your name on it and a billion ways to go berserk

"World Container" by the Tragically Hip

11. I thought love was only true in fairy tales

"I'm A Believer" by the Monkees

20.Wake up, Maggie, I think I got something to say to you

"Maggie May" by Rod Stewart (that's the correct title, isn't it? I think?)

EEEE! The Fat Lady of Limbourg! (#1, if I have to make it EXPLICITLY CLEAR THAT I LOVE YOU AND YOUR MUSICAL TASTE)

Let's see. I know #2, that's 10,000 Maniacs, but I don't know the name of the song! #9 looks like something from Evita, one of the variations on Don't Cry For Me, Argentina. #20 of course is Rod Stewart, and again, what the hell is the name of the song? Isn't it just Maggie? Wake up Maggie?

I should say that I absolutely never do these when I see them on my flist, but! THE FAT LADY OF LIMBOURG! I could not resist!

I don't do a LOT of memes, but the music ones I do. Every once in a while I post a supercolossal hundred-song version with lyrics that aren't necessarily the first line.

I'll be posting links to these songs once the guessing's done. :D

#2 isn't the Maniacs, unless they do a version of it. The other two you have a piece of.

I refuse to guess on account of you not having credited me with #1 yet.

Right, let's see if I can guess a few!

4. The actress hasn't learned the lines from Evita.

Ahem, that's all I'm afraid. I'm guessing by one of the other answers that it's from the movie soundtrack, but I could be wrong :)

Stealing the meme from you BTW (I hope you don't mind)!

For some reason my playlist randomly shuffled to three songs from the Evita movie soundtrack. I almost started the whole thing over, but then I would have been cheating so I left them. And yes, you're right!
