Name 5 characters you think really need a hug:

1. Benton Fraser. I ask you, is there a fictional character who needs a hug MORE? I mean, look at his little FACE!

2. Londo Mollari. One of the most tragic figures since Macbeth Hamlet.

3. Ray Vecchio. Yeah, he's a hugging kinda guy, it's in his culture to hug. He still needs more.

4. Geoffrey Tennant. You know that he's half-crazy, but that's why you want to be there.

5. Ellen Fanshaw. Not that she'd ever ask. Fortunately, her problem has an obvious solution. See #4.

That first picture is killing me. That look... That brown uniform...

The hair in the second pic might cause injury if you try to hug him...

That's one of my very favourite pictures of Fraser. Such a beautiful w00bie.

As for Londo, he might cause you injury if you try to hug him (also, have you ever seen Babylon 5? *pimps*).
girlorchid at 2009-04-10 14:33 (UTC) ()
No, but you have just added to the immense amount of peer pressure to do so :-p One of these days...my to watch DVD pile is almost as unwieldy as my to read book pile...

And that might well have become my new favourite pic of Fraser....

I was going to find you a B5 clip, but you should really watch it from the beginning with as few spoilers as possible.

I will...one of these days! :-D

Oh, um. That Fraser picture. God, he's beautiful.

*stares some more*
*hugs him*

Also, I love that picture of Vecchio.

Oh, um. That Fraser picture. God, he's beautiful.

HE SO IS. In related news, grass is green and sky is blue and stuff. :)

Also, I love that picture of Vecchio.

I couldn't find a pic of Vecchio that did him justice in my vast and disorganised files, so I did a quick screencap from The Duel. ♥Ray♥

Oh my god, FRASER'S LITTLE FACE. I don't even have words. And then you follow it up with Vecchio and his FACE. And Geoffrey! And Ellen! It's like face city of woe up in here.

The look of a saint...

1,3,4 - a friendly kiss wouldn't hurt too!

I'd kiss Ellen, too. On the cheek, gentle-like so she wouldn't kill me.

Londo? Not so much. I'd have to shave my head first, anyway. But he still needs hugs. *g*

Ooo yours have picspam.

I agree with you. Awww Fraser's face.

Even Londo deserves a hug.

Londo deserves a hug, definitely. He made his own mess, but he's still a poor thing. He's practically Shakespearean, he's so tragic.

Oh, FRASER. That's when Meg is telling him he's fired, isn't it? Awwwwww.

I don't think I could find it in me to hug Londo, at least not right now. Maybe later in the series he'll become more huggable. (Personally, I would give Ivanova a hug right here. And then I'd run like hell, because she's not really the huggy type, I don't think, and might break one of my arms.)

Geoffrey and Ellen are definitely obvious solutions to their own problems.

I think it is. It's one of my screencaps, I think, but I've had it for so long I forgot its episode source.

He'll never be huggable. But he's hug-needy, which are two different things. *g*

Oh, Susan. I'll hug you if you promise not to eviscerate me or anything. ;)

I know I used that clip in my F/T vid, and the angle and that expression are familiar, so I'll say it's from that scene. :D

Hmm. Perhaps someone with a stronger stomach than me could hug him. Say, Timov after a lot of vodka.

Um...get her liquored up before you try so her reaction time is slowed? (Why is alcohol playing such a big part in this discussion?)

Hehee!

Um...get her liquored up before you try so her reaction time is slowed?

This may work. This and some Kevlar.

I suppose that's not for me to answer, although, hmm. Is it too early for gin and tonic?

YES.

If I have a RP OTP (excluding my family, of course), it's gotta be Paul and Martha. Because JUST LOOK AT THEIR DORKY LITTLE SELVES:

It's even possible to find pics of them apart when they're together. Look at this - different photos, same event. They can't seem to do anything separately, bless them.

FYI On the same search, I also found this smokin' hot photo of Martha:

Yes. I want all of them to be hugged, as soon as possible. Except for number two, whom I don't know at all. And 1 and 3 could hug each other, and then 4 & 5 hug, and everyone is happy, except for the scary looking guy (who probably needs a hug, but I have to take your word for that...)

Great pics, thanks.

You wouldn't have to take my word for it if you watched Babylon 5. It was my favourite show ever until S&A nudged it out of first place. Basically, if you like BSG at all, you'll probably like B5.

ETA some speculation: If 1 hugged 4 would there like, be a rip in the time-space continuum or something?

Um, are you going to defriend me if I admit that I don't love BSG, and for the very awful (which I think makes me a worse person) that I actually liked the original?

I don't know that either one of them would reach out to another person, they would be much more likely to receive, not give. But if they did: big ol' tear would so happen!

primroseburrows at 2009-04-10 22:50 (UTC) ()
Hey, I liked the original!. For the longest time I didn't watch the new one because I couldn't get past OMG STARBUCK IS A GIRL. *headdesk*

B5 is sorta a halfway point between the two. It's early nineties, so the FX were better than the 70s, but not as good as they are now. And the mytharc is awesome.

The OMG, STARBUCK IS A GIRL thing was very hard for me, cause the show had been all about Apollo and Starbuck and their wonderful gay love. So, making him a girl, and then making the subtext text, was really hard for me.

I think B5 on my list to see eventually. But, it's a long list.

I've never been a Kara/Lee fan, anyway. I don't much care for Lee in the first place. Kara's a complicated character, and he's too easy for her. She needs someone like, um. Leoben. It's a sick relationship, but it's not predictable. :)

I heartily concur with this list! EVERYONE here needs a hug! (Except that Londo guy, for I do not know him or what he's about, but his hair disturbs me a little).

Poor Londo. He needs LOVE, darnit. And Babylon 5 is definitely worth watching!
