I'm working a night shift, so I need some distraction:

Post two truths and a lie about yourself as an answer to Writer's Block. Have people guess which is the lie in the comments.

1. My grandmother was the local midwife for Block Island in the 1920s and early 1930s.

2. I once spent an entire evening in the company of someone without noticing that he only had one arm.

3. I have never broken a bone.

This is so much better than the zombie baseball question.

The lie: I once spent an entire evening in the company of someone without noticing that he only had one arm.

But I do think there's still a story in there somewhere...

#2 is the lie.

This is so much better than the zombie baseball question.

Wasn't it vampires? Zombie baseball could be interesting...*g*

Vampires. Yeah, that was it.

Also, no. #2 actually happened. Which says a lot about how observant I am.
