How I feel about it all: goodgood
Soundtrack: Joni Mitchell - Carey
*thwaps LJ severely*

I just wrote out a long post, only to have it completely eaten by LJ and its new Update thing.

Here we go again.

First, here are some pictures from yesterday's trip to Swan Point Cemetery:

I am in love with this angel. I have more pictures of him. (her? it?) The broken hand makes it even more haunting and sort of sad:

Another angel. I thought the short hair was interesting:

Close-up of a creepy fountain, which wasn't working at the time. In fact, the whole nearby area smelled strongly of paint thinner or gasoline or some other petroleum product. The kids are holding an umbrella:

The underside of a spider in her web on a stained-glass window of one of the buildings:

I'll post more tomorrow, probably. I'm too lazy right now to do any more uploading and coding.

Oh, and we're having a lovely conversation here on what makes a childrens' book a childrens' book. Come join us!

Last thing. For those of you who aren't reading Neil Gaiman's blog, here's why you should be. Read the first part, and do not attempt to eat or drink while doing so. Fecking hilarious. Ow. My side hurts.

Now, see, I like spiders. Healthy respect, yeah (I didn't go poking around st this one's web). They're the one creepycrawly thing I actually can deal with (except the earthworm, but they're not exactly bugs).
the day you left was just my beginning

Scrolling past this again, i was suddenly struck with the thought that perhaps you had inadvertently interrupted the spider tapdancing.

Which then made me think - you could make a funny icon out of that.

You tell those spiders.
