Yep, that's me, circa early seventies. As an old friend of my mother's used to say, tempus do fugit. *G*

Her sister. :)

Who has posted more on LJ since being snowed in than any other time. ;)

hahahahahahaha

I went a little spammy, myself, so I'm sympathetic. :D

As a side note, I'm really sorry you won't be heading to Boston next month...I was looking forward to crashing your primroseburrows-time for a few hours and saying hi. Another time, hopefully. :)

Dude...I have next weekend off. We should plan something. Maybe willysunny could go too??!!
february_sea at 2005-01-24 23:12 (UTC) ()
I'd adore that...Spouse is out of town for Saturday, so Sunday would be better for me, I'm thinking...

What's 'neutral territory' for all three of us? Providence Place? *is geographically challenged*

We could meet there and then go somewhere else, if you didn't want to do the mainstream stuff. The East Side of Providence has some lovely (and cheap!) restaurants. Of course, the Mall has Borders, yo.

I'm all for cheap eats! I don't know the city well at all, though, so it's all you as far as picking a place.

Borders...mmmmm....do they sell coffee in that one? :D

OMGOMG! That is a great shot! You look awesome - very retro.

My father has been scanning 70's slides for months now, and just gave me a CD of 650 jpgs. He's only 1/2 through.

Yeah, it's gonna be like that with us, too. We have trays upon trays. Apparently my family didn't take pictures with regular film, just slides and Polaroids.

We had so many cats back then, it's hard to remember. And most of them had no tails, because the matriarch of the bunch didn't.
ackonrad at 2005-01-24 22:25 (UTC) ()
That's a nice outfit you have here. And you're pretty!

Who's the cat? ;))

primroseburrows at 2005-01-25 05:09 (UTC) ()
I'm thinking it was Whitewash, who was so named because he was entirely white except his two-inch long tail, which was black. He looked like someone whitewashed him and ran out. We called him "Wishie" for some odd reason. He was a lovely cat.

The cat in my icon is Rhett, who is still with us, and is the Best Cat Evah.
One damn minute, Admiral.
