DT: come reap

sometimes I'm clueless and I'm clumsy, but I got friends that love me, and they know where I stand

How I feel about it all: determinedjust fine, say thankya
Soundtrack: Jessica Andrews - Rosemary's Granddaughter
Every time I find myself inadequate, I need to think of this song. It's exactly like my story, except there's no Rose in front of Mary:

Jessica Andrews - Who I am (Rosemary's Granddaughter)

So, so, me. Not that it's all about me. Er. But this song IS. Especially the clueless and clumsy part.

I'm thinking it might be about some of you guys, too.

Lyrics here.

*raises glass* Here's to you, Mary. Both of you. *loves*

I've related to this song for a long time, not so much that it's about me but rather about the love I have for my family and that they have for me. Like the singer of the song, a large part of me is defined by my family and the stock that I come from. They are my truest friends and the only people on the planet that I trust without a moment's hesitation.

By the by, thought you might appreciate this. It rings true with me and I hope it really happens.

I love John McCain. I may not agree with every little thing he says, but he's honest in the way Jimmy Carter was honest, for the most part. I keep hoping for a McCain/Chaffee ticket. Then I will quite possibly vote Republican and Hell will become a lovely Skating Centre. *g*

Sometimes I'm clueless and I'm clumsy
But I've got friends who love me
And they know just where I stand
It's all a part of me
And that's who I am

Now, see, that line rings true in everyone who's ever struggled with ADD. We're different. We are. And people who love us, well. They love us.

You're one of those people, love, and I couldn't be more pleased. You can come visit my messy house anytime. *hugs*
