Re: Going South!

I live in Massachusetts because when my first marriage broke up, I came home to family. Before coming back, I lived in California (4 years) and Florida (7 years). I stay because my current ( and last!) wife has a business here, as well as four children, a sister, and a mother in New England. My parents also live here.

However, a permanent exodus to warmer climes is not out of the question in the future.

Bleagh - snow before Halloween? The poor trick-or-treaters will get frozen toes.

Didn't the northeast get slammed with snow last year, too?

The Northeast is sadistic like that.

mr_t00by likes the snow. He skis, and such. My mum likes it, too. Guess the snowlove skipped a generation.

Maybe you should take up the offer to stay in a hotel until the heat is turned on, after all.

I've got two heaters. Hopefully they'll take it off the rent.

Eep! Keep warm there girlfriend!

I can't remember it ever snowing here before Halloween. It's not shirtsleeve weather any more, that's for sure. :-)

I don't know why Hecate tends to be someone I'm drawn to, since she's all about the Cold White North. I don't question her, much, though. :)

I'm with Aja - after living 8° off the equator for 6-years, me likes me some snow (actually, I liked it before then, but hey!)

I never liked it. It's odd, even when I was a kid I'd stay out for ten minutes and then be running for home and Warmth.
One damn minute, Admiral.
