How I feel about it all: exhaustedknackered
Soundtrack: Natalie MacMaster - Glad You Made It, Howie!
...a day late because of mandatory overtime. Which means I really should be in bed.

1) When does liking someone a lot become loving that person?

I suppose it's different for everyone, and every kind of love.

2) Is there a job you would do for free, and is it your current job?

Midwifery. Not my current job, but I'd like it to be my future one. Anything to do with birth, actually. Also, I'd love to be a DJ like nmalfoy *g*

3) What is one person/thing that inspired you to take action of some sort?

Hearing my oldest son scream when he was circumcised at two weeks (I was in the next room), and knowing I allowed it to happen. It was the most horrible, excruciating sound I've heard to date. It was 1985, I've been a nocirc activist ever since.

4) Though you might not believe in it, would you like fate to exist?

If ka will say so, then let it be so.

5) What's the kindest thing that anyone has ever done for you?

When I had the flu about ten years ago, my kids brought the telly into my room so I could watch the Garth Brooks special without getting out of bed. They were smaller then, and it was a big-arsed boob tube.

I got it from one of the nocirc websites, so I can claim no designs on it other than resizing it. Feel free to use!

With your knowledge of music I bet you'd make a great DJ! ;)

I have this fantasy that songdog and I should start a DJ business and take it on the road. We both have a common base knowledge of music, but both of us veer off in individual directions (she likes classical, I like punk, for instance). We should most likely bring robinhoo with us, because she knows even more of the musical spectrum.

My own take

I can just picture your #5. Just so sweet. :)

I must comment on:

1. When seeing their wants and needs fulfilled becomes as important - or moreso - as your own, and when you are willing to sacrifice to see it done.

2. Astronaut. I'd pay them to do it.

3. Seeing abused animals at an animal shelter spurred me to donate regularly to BestFriends and become a staunch animal advocate.

4. We make our own fate.

5. Thanksfully, there are far, far, far too many to mention.

Dude. It was the coolest thing. It *looks on imdb* probably a 1997 show, which means Mary was about fourteen and a half, Caleb twelve, i_am_a_hannah ten , and mr_t00by eight. They carried a good sized television (probably 30 inch or so) up a full flight of stairs. This was one of those sets that still had heavy parts in the back. It took all of them to do it, I'm pretty sure. The darlings. *loves*

It's a pretty cool gig, and rarely boring. You do have to get used to one thing, though: when people don't like what you're playing they're VERY vocal about it. The ones who do love what you do rarely let you know. So you only hear about the bad stuff, for the most part. But that's just life.

Sounds a lot like every job I've had, actually.

I'm a DJ's dream. If I like a song, I'll be OMG, what is that, can you play more like it, what year did it come out? Or maybe they'd just rather I go away, but delusions are fun, so...
