Totally off-topic, but if you're unable to sleep anyhow...this page has a Goggle Earth link that zeros in on Elton's mansion in Windsor.

It looks like he's right under the approach path into Heathrow! No doubt proximity to the airport was an important consideration when he bought.

Elton is so unassuming. Doesn't go for the ostentatious at all. *g*

P.S. There is no off-topic. This post HAS no topic. It's like the Solar Prestige A Gammon of posts.

That really is saying something. At least Solar has the virtue of being singable in the shower. Victim of Love, on the other hand...(shudder).

You have a point. Shower singability is greatly superior to merely making sense. Because not being able to sing something in the shower could throw the whole day off.

That's a really tough poll, y'know because you are a dork and nerd and all that AND you should be in bed right now.

The good thing about working the evening shift is that I can sleep really really late. Not that I get any work done at home when that happens.

I blame my iPod for keeping me awake. Cursed, wonderful thing that it is. *g*

"Huskies and Husqvarnas"

*blinks* Husqvarna is a teeny tiny town in Sweden, and also a sewing machine (made in that town), but it's sold under the name "Viking" over there. So, what's the music like, then?

The sewing machines are called Vikings here, too. Very good ones, actually. :)

The music is alternative country, which is not the icky stuff they play on the radio now, but closer to bluegrass/traditional country. And in this case, the Husqvarna is a chainsaw. Of course, because what country singer would ever sing about a sewing machine?

Cure for earworm. Warning: Cure may be worse than disease. Though, personally, I *love* this song.
