This is depressing:

And, er. Whoever made this map needs to change the whole code, not just the map part. It says, "visited 4 states (30%)". Also, the coding says "visitedCanadianStates". Dear page coder: I have not visited a single state in Canada, you ignoramus. And besides, you're trying to tell me that 4 provinces is 30% of Canada? I don't think so. :/

This is also depressing:

This is really depressing:

At least they didn't say "visited 21 provinces", If this were a map of China, this would actually be possible. *g*

I've got to travel more, obviously.

How did you miss Delaware??

As long as you come down here and take the train to NOLA with us, you'll go through AL and MS. Not that you're missing much by not visiting them.

All east of the Mississippi, bar one. Sigh.

I did! *edits* Those tiny states, y'know? *g*

You and me, we gotta do Northern New England. And then we can head Northeast

Hi there. I surfed over from your comment on my post at Audiography. I'm friending you. Hope that's okay. I'm a fan of King's as well, largely because he's entertaining, but also because I think he's going to serve as a valuable resource for future generations, as a compendium of popular culture.

Yay! The more the merrier. Although I will tell you that a lot of my posts are random and odd. Usually not boring, though, because they're so random and odd. *g*

Hubby and I (mostly me) have been seriously talking about emigrating to either Nova Scotia or the Yukon. Obviously there is a slight difference between the two so we still need to talk about it (and perhaps visit the Yukon to check it out, something I am dying to add to my list). I listen to CBC's podcasts of the "North/Nova Scotia this week" to try and help me decide. It hasn't helped much.

Ooh I never talk about my private life generally, you should feel honoured ;-)

I've been to the Yukon! It's really nifty. Whitehorse is a lovely and surprisingly cosmopolitan-feeling town for a place its size.

Part of me wants to travel, dreadfully, seeing this.

The other part of me says, "shut up, you idiot, it's December. The coldest months haven't even begun yet and you're already shivery 24/7. Wrap up in a blanket, brew a cup of tea, and drag the bookcase over to the couch. You can travel in the spring."

And yet I'm dreaming of the 49th parallel. And Australia. O.o

Well, whadd're you waiting for? They're practically next door to each other after all :). Just ask Elton John, who left Toronto, skipped right over New England and started doing concerts in Oz. *sigh*

Time for a road trip, you.

I've pretty much driven around the US, but haven't hit the southern end yet (or anything on the northeast corner).

I'm planning a longish vacation in Canada in October. And I'll be going to New Orleans in May. *throws confetti*

Come to RI! We can go to George's for clamcakes and chowda.

Oddly, I have been to all the states bordering Oregon, but I've never been to Oregon. Nor North Dakota or Minnesota, but I think that's it. In the east, Kentucky is my odd man out although I might have driven through part of it, I can't recall.

(I've also been to slightly more than half of Canada by the numbers, but clearly by area far less than that!)

I like Oregon. I've been to the same city twice. I should go again and NOT go to Eugene, but there's so much I haven't seen in Eugene, so. *shrugs*

I've never been to Kentucky. It's on the List. I hit the South, it's generally Atlanta. *g*

I obviously need to get to the south and the mid-west. Though after next week, I'll be able to add Wisconsin to the list.

As for Canada, I've only been to Quebec and Ontario. And countries: Canada, France, UK, Belize, Guatemala, and of course the US.

Egypt was Hot. The pyramids were really cool (even though it was hot), though. There were camels!

You could go to Vancouver. That's not so far. Well, relatively.

THIS IS NOT NEARLY AS COOL AS I HOPED IT WOULD BE, now I really wish they DID have this thing for China, I would feel much happier about that.

I have been to nearly half the states in the country, HOW does that mean I have so much gray space left!

This one makes me feel slightly cooler, but also makes me wonder WHY I haven't been to Ontario. It wasn't that far from Massachusetts!
