How I feel about it all: sleepysleepy

I mean no disrespect to any parties involved, but:

Apparently the Red Sox think they're the Yankees.

I don't have an opinion about the whole thing, really, but this sounds SO MUCH like a New York deal. Mostly because of the GIANT GOBS OF MONEY. I hope it's worth it.

Orpheus

33% Extroversion, 80% Intuition, 100% Emotiveness, 52% Perceptiveness

You are an artist, an aesthete, a sensitive, and someone who has never really let go of that childlike innocence. To you, all of life has a sense of wonder in it, and the story of Orpheus was written about someone just like you.

When the Argo passed the island of the Sirens, Orpheus played a song more beautiful than the Sirens to prevent the crew from becoming enticed. When his wife died, he ventured into the underworld to charm Hades but, in his naivete, he looked back becoming trapped there.

You can capture your unique world view and relate it to others with the skill of a master storyteller. Your sensitivity and creativity make you a treasure to the human race, but your thin-skinned nature and innocence can cause you a lot of disenchantment and pain. What's doubly unfortunate is that, if you try to lose those traits, you never will, and everyone will be able to tell that you're putting up an artificial shell to prevent yourself from being hurt.

Famous people like you: Hemingway, Shakespeare, Mr. Rogers, Melville, Nick Tosches

Stay clear of: Icarus, Hermes, Atlas

From melpemone, and because I'm weird enough to think about this, a meme! It's short, so no cut.

List ten fictional characters you would have sex with (in no particular order) then tag 5 people to do the same.

a. Geoffrey Tennant Okay, so he's the only one in any order. Where else would he be?
2. Alex Krycek
3. Delenn
4. Ray Vecchio
5. Chris Cutter
6. Ellen Fanshaw
7. Buddy French
8. Ray Kowalski
9. Stu Redman
10. Benton Fraser

Realise, of course, I've only picked ten. In the fictional realm, I can pick as many as I want, right? Because I so left out Peter Lake (who has no picture except in my head), Meg Thatcher (shut UP.), Grownup!Jack Sawyer (also no picture), Alex Law, Curt Wild, Billy Tallent, Brian Kinney, Duck MacDonald, Remus Lupin (not the picture you're thinking of) and Augustus Knickel. Among others.

This is also THIS week. Ask me again in a few days. :)

Okay, so I'll tag, hmm. patchfire, missapocalyptic, peacey, topaz7 and stormwynd. That seems to be a list chock full 'o variety. :) Oh, and anyone else who wants to be shallow and silly with us. *g*

P.S. The icon isn't mood-related. I just like badass!Vecchio. :D

Can't I just say "What promroseburrows said"?

Oh, c'mon, your list has to be a little different than mine, right?

You included photos. I LOVE that. I'm tagging you for all the memes I do that might result in photos of Paul Gross from now on. :-)

Up to and including "Which Old God in the Lovecraft Mythos Are You"?

or maybe "List ten of your favourite Latin Declensions?

or possibly, "Fossilised Crabgrass: Can you identify the fake?"

Because, y'know, any of those might qualify.
the day you left was just my beginning

You do realise that there aren't ten Latin declensions, right? There are only five. Or is it four? At most there are five.

That's what makes it so difficult.
Someday I might even know what a declension is. I only know they exist. Kind of like a "manifold" in a car.

100 mill for a player that no one knows if he'll be ANY good in the majors. Un-freakin'-believable. The price for Barry Zito just went up too *sigh*

Interesting list.. I'd say mine would have about half your list on list, plus add in Iolaus from HTLJ, Harper from Andromeda, about half the cast of LOTR, Leoben (hello, he's a freakin' robot!) and oh, hell, adult Charles Main from the North and South mini-series that's about 20 years old now.

I remember that miniseries! It's the one with Patrick Swayze, right? I think?

Can I say how surprised I am to see YOU list Brian? I just...I don't know, he never really struck me as your type. I mean, he's numero uno on MY list, but...really?

I think I just fell in love with you a bit more. *kisses*

Are you kidding? I've always loved Brian! He's gorgeous and closed-off and flawed and would rather have people think he was an asshole than show that he's hurt or scared or in love. *sigh* I love a person with current under the surface. And besides, he's hot. *g*

Heh. I have been saying for a few weeks now that I think Theo and Brian Cashman traded jobs and just didn't tell anyone.

OK, I just posted mine on my journal. I had a tough time trimming the list down to 10....

I've been hibernating from the 'net of late, but I'm back and am at this very moment posting my list to my journal. Thanks for tagging! I do loves to be tagged!
