I've sat upon the setting sun, but never never, never never, I've never wanted water once

Jann Arden does a wonderful version of Peace Train, especially in concert. The Cat was a little strange but he sure wrote some good tunes.
Meanwhile back at the ranch, the Jays have been crawling out of the basement and it won't be long till we are chasing the Bosox down for the American League East pennant, despite the fact that our best pitcher has been on the sidelines.

I love Cat Stevens. I need to get his latest album. I don't know if he was strange or not. Hmm.

I'm glad the Jays are doing better. They definitely aren't on my list of teams to loathe. Actually, there's only one on that particular list. Um. :)

Well actually I don't really know that he was strange so that was an unfair comment. And in any event all great talents are a little different -- take Reginald Keneth Dwight for instance...

And my Jays blew a big lead against the Twinkies only to come back and win in extra innings. Go Jays!!

Sir Elton is eccentric. I love him for it, of course. *g*

*cheers Jays on to second place*

Thanks! I wouldn't mind second place if it is enough for a wild card spot. I am afraid however that the wild card may come from the Central Division since they have Detroit and Cleveland off to great starts. The season is young however...

The Red Sox sometimes need that wild card spot. You never know.
