On the Shakespeare theme...kinda, if you ever need proof that Paul's hair is naturally as curly as ...a really curly thing, then here it is:

Gah. My silly laptop registers all pics from photobucket as [AD]. I do not know how to make this not happen. Can you send it as a LJ pic? Like this one:

Not a good example of teh curls at all, but I love it utterly.

I have absolutely no idea how to put something as a livejournal pic at all. Shame you can't see anything as I also have a great pic of Paul during ROM rehearsal..where I can't stop looking at his large shoulders and other firm parts.

The way to get pictures uploaded on LJ is to go to your profile page and click on "upload" in the "scrapbook" section. It's pretty much the same way as photobucket, after that.

No, I don't have the scrapbook as I have a basic account. Can you save the photo and then open it in some other programme? I really want to share the rehearsal photo with someone!!!

The link takes me to photobucket proper. One think I think you can do with photobucket is to change the way you display the pictures. Like, there are three options, I think. Try using the IMG code instead of the one that links directly to photobucket. Or just make the pictures public and I can go directly there. I have Pbase, also, which is a great photo site, and you're welcome to use it.

I don't think I understood a single word in that sentence. Hang on, let me try again.

That should work, being a direct link...I hope.

Is that the one from the list? Roland, aka silly laptop, won't let me save that one. I should maybe pay my cable bill so I can use Cuthbert, aka my desktop again. Or at least buy him a wireless card.

Also, dude. I forgot to mention that I had that haircut. No, really, I did:

No, not the same photo. I found this one on the CBC.ca website about an article of Shakespeare in the Park.

I found that one (CBC is full of Yay). Is that really his hair? If it is, I feel his pain. My hair's just like that when it's long.

I was actually wondering about the rehearsal one, hence the question about the picture from the list, with which Roland will not co-operate and let me save. Grr.

It could well be, I get a daily digest thing from the PG-L, so I won't find out until tomorrow.

Ah, it IS the same one. Someone beat me to it darn.

I'll just stare with ya LOL. He looks all buffed up.

No, it's all good, because I couldn't save it from the link on the list.

Buffed up. Good word. Um. Words. Not that he's ever been scrawny, but still.

Dude, those are Fraser's shoulders.

*has no husband, which is almost always just fine*

No, No, they are Paul's shoulders...Fraser just borrowed them for a while for filming purposes. In reality, Fraser is a 3 ft 6, 50lb weakling and hired Paul as his stunt-double.

:)

No, no, don't rain on my parade. They are AU!twins. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. Fraser is NOT a Hobbit, I tell you.

And yes I am in a serious Fraser phase, and yes it is a bit incestuous given he's my fake!twin brother. Ask me if I care.

Cool, thank you for the Stratford link. I have to admit, though, that I was more than mildly freaked out by the vid of Richard Monette describing his final season as artistic director. Because I first saw Richard Monette as Prince Hal in Henry IV at Stratford (both parts) and then the following season as Henry V (same character, obviously), and I had such a crush on him. *sobs* I haven't seen him since that time, and decades have passed in the meantime, and the picture of him in my head hadn't changed. And it has just changed. He's *old* now. *cries*

I was a college kid; it was 1979 and 1980, I think, and he was young and his hair was dark, and he was so hot...Wahh! *cries*

*sniffles* *recovers*

The other half of my freakout was about how surreal that vid seems to me now that I've watched some of Slings & Arrows! Because, OMG, the real Monette could be a character on S&A. He talks like Oliver, only a nicer, non-depressed, and, oh yeah, non-dead version. But...surreal!

Another neat vid available there shows Graham Greene as Shylock. Just...wow. I don't think I've ever seen him play anyone who wasn't an Indian. Anyway, I think it's very, very cool. That would be something to see.

Brian Bedford As King Lear also looks like he's going to be amazing. All sorts of good stuff there. Thank you again.

I tried to link directly to the King Lear court scene. First I tried embedding, but it wouldn't let me c/p. Then I tried directly typing the embed link. THEN I tried this link, which said it was to that one scene, but not. Grr, argh.

But yes, it's gonna be great. Although I wish I could have seen Graham Greene, too.

Slings & Arrows is utter, utter LOVE. And I hear that Monette won't even give it the time of day, but is all about saying what garbage it is. Come on. :/

Do not die, dearest. Death would not be prudent at this juncture.
