Now I remember why Velvet Goldmine has been my favourite film forever, and probably always will be.

I want to watch those clips so badly but... spoilery. *resists* I need to just buy the damn movie already. I know it has naked!Ewan, boykissing, and tons of glam. There is virtually no possibility I won't love it.
Cats. Not to be trusted.

Buy iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! There will be no regrets. There will be only squee and delight and smooshing of not!Ewan to your bosom.

(There is nowhere you are safe from my manic pimping!)

Your tentacles of pimpery reach deep into the heart of my flist. Evil woman. Next time I need to pad an amazon order out for free shipping, that dvd will be the lucky winner.

Life's hard when you're easy.

I remember the first time I saw that movie. I never did understand the beginning, the part with that spaceship thing. Do you know what I'm talking about? Either way, the rest of the movie was awesome.

I always thought it was a connection between Oscar Wilde and Brian/Maxwell Demon. There are a bunch of Oscar Wilde quotes in the movie, including part of The Picture of Dorian Gray. *shrugs* There's probably way more to it than that, though.

It's actually JRM singing on both versions. He sang this one, "Baby's on Fire" and "Tumbling Down" Brian's other songs were sung by Thom Yorke of Radiohead.

I'm pretty sure it's JRM, but I'll do some research and get back to you. :)
