I think one reason I really loved The Road is that I listened to the audiobook version and thus didn't have to deal with the typographical quirks which would have seriously annoyed me.

(and I heart Garrison Keillor and Bruce Cockburn, too!)

The typographical stuff bothered me for only a couple of minutes, and then for the most part (except for the apostrophes, which apparently are hardwired) forgot about them. The movie looks fabulous.

Oh, and if you like The Road, I highly rec The Gunslinger. The one is very evocative of the other, without being even close to a copy. At least for me. ;)
