How I feel about it all: charmed
Soundtrack: NPR - Fresh Air
My day has just been made. NPR's Fresh Air had segments of two old interviews (one from 1992, one from 2000) with Stephen King. But wait! As cool as that was, the best thing was when, at the end of the show, they played a recording of SK singing Stand By Me (with Warren Zevon at the keyboard, yo). It was just...just...wonderful. Don't quit your day job, Steve, but not bad. Not bad at all.

If anyone can get the mp3 of this, I'll be in your debt eternally. *begs*

It is available on this album: http://www.dqydj.com/catalog.htm

This album sounds like fun! $25 is a lot for me right now, but maybe sometime. I do have a few .mp3s of the Rock Bottom Remainders, as well as an incomplete "Stand By Me"

Oh, and you *must* read this review: http://members.tripod.com/~charnelhouse/essays3.html
This one makes me want to bite the bullet and buy the 2 cd set! I mean, Molly Ivins...Robert Reich...Norman Mailer...Maya Angelou! How cool can it get?
